These lovely models are made here 3D printers, based here in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
We can supply 2 sizes - a full metre model, and half metre. The version of these ships we have chosen are from the mid-70's era, so with the 965 (bedstead) radar. Each kit will include the black funnel kiwi, together with all correct nameplates and F-plates. When ordering please advise: Size: 1 metre or half metre We'll be printing these in what I call "True Colour", thanks to the magic of latest tech 3D printing, each model is printed in the actual true colours of these ships.
The main hull is Waikato (aka Camouflage) Grey, with red oxide antifoul on the lower hull section, and a "boot top" black strip, in between . The deck will be printed in Dark admiral grey. All other smaller parts will be printed in light grey ready for you to paint. With all models sent out I will provide a printed list of the full colour codes for hull, deck and superstructure, as confirmed by HMNZS Philomel paintshop.
